LeSportSac Items - How to determine if they are Authentic Items or not.  Everyone can be fooled, in thinking they are getting the real thing.  So many of the fakes, faux, look-a-like items are so good, that this is a multi-million dollar industry just in the fakes, on any brand.  Magazine and News articles encourage their readers to report the fakes, as this takes away from the branded item's industry and revenues.  Not only do I sell these great bags on eBay, but as a brand user, I see a lot of fakes too and would like to share some tips so you can get the real bag you want.  Lately, I see more and more fakes/faux/look-a-like items in the LeSportSac brand.  I'd like to share some of my tips in how to get the real item here on eBay.  I've listed tips in my Store to help out my clients, and want to share with the eBay community.

First off - I'd like to thank you for looking and my Guide and I hope this helps you out in your search for your favorite LeSportSac bag.  I love LeSportSac handbags, and all of their accessories, and have been an avid user of the product since their inception in 1974.  I still have my original everyday bag in black and it is stored away.  I have so many of these bags, I forgot what I had!  It amazes me when I unpack a box from storage, what I find.  Here are my tips for determining the authenticity of a LeSportSac brand bag here on eBay.  I want to also note that I'm not affiliated with LeSportSac in any way.  Just a very happy user and believer of the brand.

1.  Go to the Advanced Search Function on eBay and type in LeSportSac.  You can do comparisions once you find the type/style/color bag you wish, for pricing comparisons, and product comparisions.

2.  Once you find your dream LeSportSac item on eBay, go to the LeSportSac website to validate that the type/style/color is on their website.

3.  Remember that most bags on eBay are retired colors that are available for sale.  There are also retired styles available for sale, that LeSportSac no longer manufactures.  There are many retired styles that are in huge demand.

4.  In the high end items that LeSportSac sells like the Tokidoki line, check the styles out.  There are  items I've seen listed are not in the  style that is current or one of the past seasons.  A good example is a Tokidoki print in the Molly style.  The Molly style is in the regular LeSportSac Line.  Bottom line, check the prints out and check the styles and the lines out. 

5.  90% of the items that LeSportSac makes are out of Rip-Stop Nylon.  Chromoshine is the other material used.  Leather Trim is used.

6.  Factory samples. These are rare, but valid items.  A factory sample, may be a print that is done in a style other than the one sold.  They are mostly without tags, and came from someone's personal collection.  That is what I've seen.

7.  Older prints which are retired and favorites on ebay.  That means that someone is cleaning out their personal collection and it is a valid item, but no longer produced.
