There are a number of different laser pointers made specifically for pets (mostly for cats). A laser pointer can be a great toy for your pet as long as it is used correctly. NEVER shine a laser into your pet's eyes, and avoid making them climb walls or curtains in their search for the elusive red dot. Laser pointers are great for getting a cat's attention, and also great exercise. Even tubby felines will be persuaded into chasing after the laser light, and it's great fun for both the pet and the owner.

Laser lights come in a number of varieties, some having different laser patterns (such as smilee faces, stars, mice, etc), and most take 3 small batteries to operate. Most are fairly inexpensive, and a great investment if you want to keep your pets in shape.
