I own 2 laser printers, I do a lot of work that needs a lot of printing and design plus I got them cheap and it's always good to have a backup.

The printers are Samsung SCX-4100 and a Brother 2010.
I also have a Dell 910 inkjet all in one which is total garbage, so I am not going to include any info about it.

Both printers were purchased on sale from Staples, all use the same paper and print the same material.

I have found out that although the Samsung is a year older the the Brother printer, the quality and durability is much better. Both printers have an issue of handling heavy printers, but most printers do.

Overall, the Brother can handle heavy paper much better, but the Samsung prints clearly and the ink lasts a lot longer. So I have to vote for the Samsung, it's all about results.

Also, the Samsung is easier to refill, and I find that one refill of ink should be good, the 2nd time the toner will mess up and you will have to replace it.

In short, Samsung may not be a famous name, but it's a better printer which prints better then HP, Dell, Brother and Canon.
