DON'T DO IT!
The sellers sell these mostly "AS-IS" or has high shipping. Return policy not specified! "Full refund given if battery does not hold a charge" (this part of the scam is easy, check the shipping cost and what the seller paid to ship). "was pulled from a working system" Big deal. The most important thing to remember is: The BATTERY will burn out before the PC does, so where do all of these batteries come from? The seller buys a loads of them to unload them on you.
FORGET IT!
Paypal won't help, read the auction, there is nothing wrong with selling old batteries!
Can he/she check them? NO, unless he/she has the laptops to do it. You also heard of "Memory Effect". Many users don't discharge the battery completely when new to have that memory effect take place. What you get is a battery that lasts half the time. Sometimes you can revive the battery buy doing multiple charges but it's a pain.
DON'T DO IT!
You will also see: " System Pull - Excellent Working Condition - Tested / Held Charge and charges to 100% per Laptop Gauge - Unknown Hold Duration Time.
Unknown Hold Duration Time - Forget it!
