La Rok- A Guide to La Rok & Fashion
LaROK is a young company, started in 2004 by the parent company, Koral Industries, which owns the luxury denim brand 7. LaROK offers women's clothing that is tapped into a younger generation. For example, the pockets on their jackets and vests are all designed to be the right size to hold an iPod.
LaROK is often described as streetwise and very trendy: they release new apparel every month. One of their most noteworthy ideas are jeans that are designed to have an adjustable length. Instead of having to roll your jeans in order to show off a pair of shoes, LaROK has pants with tabs that can be used to adjust the length in a more fashionable way.
LaROK also offers accessories like bags and belts. Their designs are often simple with trendy and powerful details. As with their clothing, monochromatic pieces predominate, but large buckles, ties, buttons, and interesting trims give them unique and fresh character.
With pieces being released each month, LaROK ensures that its apparel is appropriate for the season. For warm spring and summer months, the Sonya top and bubble dress offer a loose and relaxed fit. Their Joplin cargo shorts and Daisy short shorts, as well as dresses like the Stardust (which has detailed stitching and beads throughout the dress) and Castaway, are ideal for walking or lounging on the beach. While most pieces can be paired with any accessories you choose, the Constance dress incorporates its own unique crocheted belt. On chilly evenings, their Winter Wonderland hoodie can provide the extra warmth you need to stay out a little bit longer in style.
