I have been using Ebay for about 2 years with no real problems, until I had the misfortune to attempt a purchase from the above seller. On May 21st 2006, I completed a Buy-It-Now for a mobile phone holder at what appeared to be a very reasonable price from LH-DIGITAL - who are listed as a power seller, with 8000+ positive feedbacks.

After a week, nothing had arrived, so I emailed the seller. A few days later I got a reply - "leave it a few more days, and see what happens, but it has been sent".

A few more days, nothing. I left it another week. Nothing. I emailed the seller again and got a reply - "must have been lost in post, I'll send another."

A further 2 weeks pass, and nothing. Again, I email the seller, this time there is no response. I give the benefit of the doubt and leave it another week or so.

About 6 weeks later there has been no further communication and still no phone holder, so I lodge an "item not received" dispute with Ebay. All through this, I have been polite, and probably a lot more forgiving than a lot of people, but none-the-less, I was still out of pocket.

The dispute was lodged, and I left my comments on the log. 10 days pass, and LH-DIGITAL have not responded to the dispute, therefore it is found in my favour and paypal refund me.

Obviously I have left negative feedback for LH-DIGITAL - I want to warn other users that I had a problem. I left a factual statement against their name "NEVER ARRIVED, GAVE 2 MONTHS TO RECTIFY PAYPAL REFUNDED PRIVATE FB FOR A REASON?"

The seller has hidden their feedback comments, but the totals show they received an average of one negative a day for the last few months - not a good sign for a power seller - " As the pillars of our community, PowerSellers are committed to upholding and embracing the core community values that are at the very foundation of eBay "

Despite not communicating with me for the last 6 weeks, nor responding to the Ebay dispute LH-DIGITAL have had the audacity to leave me my first negative feedback in nearly 700 transactions!!

This seller has something to hide by using private feedback - it is only a matter of time before they are suspended or removed from Ebay, and their feedback will be publicly listed.

Update - 11th August.

After raising the dispute with SquareTrade, LH-Digital refused to participate in any mediation. Subsequently, Ebay have now accepted the feedback was unjust and have now removed it!

I'm back to 100% feedback, and LH-Digital are still hiding theirs!
