The LENOX Colonial Bouquet series of plates began in 1995 and ended in 2007. The plates in this series are 10 1/2" in diameter and have a perforated rim trimmed in 24kt gold. The plates come in a see-thru box with a descriptive pamphlet.

This series follows closely the very successful series, "Colonial Christmas Wreaths" that ran from 1981 through 1993. In that series the theme was wreaths from the Original Thirteen Colonies featuring the native plants of that state and era from the fall and winter. In this series, the theme is a vessel holding an elaborate flower arrangement composed of blooms from the Original Thirteen Colonies from the spring and summer. The arrangement is suitable for the main table at a banquet fit for the King. Oops! I meant to say fit for General George Washington.
