The Books and Writings of L.M. (Lucy Maud) Montgomery

You will find within this guide a list of the writings of L.M. Montgomery. Her most famous book may have been Anne of Green Gables, but she wrote 20 novels and 500 short stories in her lifetime many of which are very popular.

I gathered the information contained in this list as I researched the life and the books of L.M. Montgomery with the goal to selling a collection of her books. Before I started investigating, I did not know that her writings were so extensive or that her life was so interesting. Montgomery's books were instant hits and remained so popular that they were reissued some of them over and over again. Even some of the newer editions are extremely popular, out of print and somewhat hard-to-find. For a younger reader, eager to enjoy Anne of Green Gables, there are even junior versions available.
