Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum wrote many books besides those about the Land of Oz. Book collectors, after completing their collection of vintage Oz books, often go on to search for other titles written by Baum. Over the years, Baum tried his hand at a number of other fantasy and adventure books, but readers kept wanting more Oz. Baum also wrote under a number of pseudonyms, including Laura Bancroft, Captain Hugh Fitzgerald, Suzanne Metcalf, Schuyler Staunton, Edith Van Dyne, John Estes Cooke, and Floyd Akers.

Listed below are non-Oz books written by Baum under his own name as well as his pseudonyms. I've also included the original publishing dates and publishers. If your book has the same title and date, but is published by a different company, it is a reprint. If your book is published by the company below, it MAY be a first edition, but not necessarily. Like the Oz books, original publishing dates were usually retained for many years following the first printing of a book. The International Wizard of Oz Club is working on a book that will detail the first edition points of Baum's non-Oz books.

Collecting runs in my genes. My grandfather collected "Horseless Carriages".  My Dad collected and dealt in vintage aviation and automotive magazines. My brother still sells automotive magazines and catalogs in his Ebay store.
