Ever used korker ribbon for a project and had many half inch to inch sized pieces of scrap material left? Wondered what to do with it? After all, just to pitch it would such a waste, right?
Well, here is a great idea: use those scraps to make gift wrap bows! It's very, very simple and they add class to your presents.
The first thing you need to do is gather up several pieces of your scrapped korker ribbon. Don't worry about size or even color for now, just gather the pieces. You can match up and cut to size after you have it all together.
Once you have them all together, decide the length and thickness of the bow you want to make. For larger bows, use a lot of pieces (between 15 and 20 is recommended). Let the size of the gift determine the size of your bow. If it is a larger gift, use longer in length pieces of korker ribbon.
Once you decided on the length of the pieces and the amount to use, bundle them up and secure them together with craft wire at the center. Give your bow a little shake, if needed, and apply to your gift with a hot glue gun. You're done!
