When you go to Ebay to buy something do some research! Search the net to see what similar items are selling for at retail or other sites. If you think the item is suspicious then email the seller and ask questions. A reputable seller will give you a frank, honest explanation. A shady dealer will give you an angry or evasive answer or none at all. Case in point: I saw a replica coin on Ebay. The auction title said that it was a 1 pound silver coin. The item description said the same thing. The seller had included a photo of the Certificate of Authenticity for the coin which clearly states that the coin is silver plated copper. A buyer should not have to dig through an auction to find that information. It should be in the title AND description. I asked the seller why he did not mention that the coin was copper and I got a nasty response. If you are in any way suspicious of the item or the seller then leave it alone and go somewhere else. There is no point in giving your hard earned money to people who have nothing better to do with their lives than rip people off.
