Gold and silver are worth what the market is not more. If you see something listed as 5.56 grains or 14.7 grams just how much is it worth? Well unless you really have an unusal nugget or collectors item then it is worth only the market price. How do you determine the fair market price? 1 Ounce = 31.1 Grams, 1 Gram = 15.43 Grains. If Gold is $825. an oz then divide 825. by 31.1 to get the $ value per gram then divide that by 15.43 to get the $ value per grain. Don't be fooled my gold or silver is not worth more than what the market is. If it is melted down for jewelry thats all it will bring.
