The Proud Family is an animated television show that originally aired on the Disney Channel in 2000.  The main character of the show is Penny Proud.  She's 14 years old and is usually embarrassed by the way her parents act.  She has two siblings; Bebe and Cece Proud, her three-year-old twin brother and sister. The show is usually a comedy, in which Penny's daily trials as a teenager are seen in a comedic way.  This show is geared for pre-teens and teenagers.
