"Lizzie McGuire " was a live-action Disney TV show that aired January 2001 until February 2004.  It stars Hilary Duff as fashion-loving Elizabeth "Lizzie" McGuire.  This show begins while the characters are in seventh grade and follows the times and trials of Lizzie's life and the lives of her two best friends, Gordo, and Miranda as they get through school and family life. Lizzie also had her own movie released in 2003 entitled, "The Lizzie McGuire Movie."  It stars all of the original cast members and takes the gang on a trip to Rome.
