Lilo and Stitch is the story of a destructive little alien named "626" by his creator, the mad scientist, Dr. Jumba Jookiba. When 626 escapes from the doctor and travels to earth, he meets a young girl named Lilo. Lilo takes him in and convinces her big sister, Nani, to let her keep him and train him. Stitch particularly likes the music of Elvis Presley and he even does an impression to one of the songs during the movie.
Lilo and Stitch was released in theaters in 2002 and is set in the Hawaiian Islands. There has also been several movies released entitled "Stitch! The Movie", and "Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch," as well as a television series aired on the Disney channel called "Lilo & Stitch: The Series."
Trivia : The same island that Lilo lives on, Kauai, was also used for filming in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" starring Harrison Ford, and "Jurassic Park".
This film was painted with watercolors, a technique that hadn't been used since Dumbo in 1941.
