Hello Kitty's full name is Kitty White.  She was born in London on November 1, 1974.  She still lives in London with her Mama and Papa and her twin sister Mimmi.  She has many friends too, including; Tracy, Joey, and Fifi.  She's very energetic and she loves to play piano and bake cakes.  

Hello Kitty is owned by Sanrio and was copyrighted in 1976.  She is drawn in the "cute" Japanese style that has become very popular.  Hello Kitty notably does not have a mouth because she "speaks from the heart".  She's been around for more than thirty years and still has a very large fan base. 

Trivia :  Hello Kitty was created in 1974 by Ikuko Shimizu.  She appears on merchandise ranging from computers to hand bags.
Hello Kitty has also been the representative for UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) since 1983.
Hello Kitty's name originated from a Lewis Carroll book entitled, "Through the Looking Glass," the sequel to "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."
