Nemo is the main character in Pixar's animated film Finding Nemo. The film was released in the United States on May 30, 2003. Nemo is a young clownfish who lives with his father, Marlin. One day, Nemo is caught while he's swimming in the open ocean, and a dentist in Australia takes him as a pet. His father, Marlin, and a blue Tang fish with a memory problem named Dory are the only ones who can find him.
Trivia : "Nemo" is a reference to the classic novel, "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea," by Jules Verne in which the captain of the submarine is named "Captain Nemo" (basically translating to "captain nobody"). Nemo, translated in Latin means "nobody."
