Dragon Tales follows the adventures of a human brother and sister; Max, who is four years old and Emmy, who is six years old. They go on many magic journeys to Dragon Land.  It is here that they meet new dragon friends - Zak, Cassie, Ord, and Wheezie, as well as their dragon teacher, Quetzal.  Quetzal is an old dragon that runs the dragon school.  Cassie is a pink dragon who shrinks when she gets upset.  Ord is afraid of almost everything and becomes invisible when he gets upset, and Zak and Wheezie are conjoined twins who don't always get along.
