Kellie Pickler - 2006 American Idol's Kellie Pickler

Tonight American Idol announced their 2006 finalists - 12 men and 12 women. Among the women selected was blonde hair, super-cute Kellie Pickler. Kellie Pickler is the small town girl with no vocal training but a big smile, a strong voice and a great personality. Pickler seemed to win the judges over (Randy, Simon and Paula) in her American Idol auditions. Since then, shes caused no controversy and song very well. Look for more from Kellie Pickler as I assume that she will be an American fan favorite. More to come...

Feb. 20th Kellie Pickler Update

Fox posted their Kellie Pickler factoids - the night before the first week of voting begins (Tuesday is the women's competition, Wednesday is the men's, and Thursday is the voting). Below are the Kellie Pickler facts from Fox:

February 28th Update for Kellie Pickler

Tonight, Kellie looked freshly tanned and kept to the bizarre country theme that many of the female contestants took to. Kellie Pickler sang Bonnie Rait's "Something to Talk About" and gave a strong rendition... though Simon was right in saying that, if one had listened to the song without knowing or seeing Kellie... it would have been a different story as the song wasn't fantastic... but Kellie's personality (and use of the word Calamari!) make her enjoyable and will get her through to the finals. Also - I could do without her overly layered hair cut and fake bake.

March 14th Update for Kellie Pickler

Same old story for Kellie Pickler... her character and southern charm (aka lack of a matured brain) will get her through to the next round (and several more) despite an overall underwhelmingly boring performance of "Blame it on the Sun". Kellie Pickler came out wearing a black full length dress and some red heels - but in general, the performance was lackibng her well-known spunk.
