I was just on the blog page and so many new eBayers have questions about buying and selling, etc., but mostly about selling.  One piece of advice I would offer, and I have sold over 3,000 items, is to keep your listing page simple--if I come upon a page with music and moving backgrounds and 50 pictures of items scanning across the page, when I only wanted to view one,  I just close it down and go somewhere else.  Also, don't mention negative feedback as a major part of your listing--you will just scare people away!  Feedback definitely has its place, but I wouldn't make a major issue out of it right up front!
