There is nothing more aggravating than paying good, hard-earned money for a lot of new minifigs to only receive them scratched.

The torsos are the part of the minifig that gets the most damage in transit.  In order to ensure the safe delivery of your minifigs, ask your seller to wrap the minifigs individually.  Most will accommodate you, especially if you ask them to use cheap materials such as toilet paper, paper towels, or plastic wrap.

If a seller is not willing to do this for you, chances are they don't offer A+ customer service anyway and it would be in your best interest to look elsewhere.
