Customers want three things: instant gratification, clear, fast communications and to get what they were promised.

1. Use PayPal to get payment quickly and then ship quickly.
2. Answer emails immediately
3. Reveal any flaws or shortcomings your item has
4. Never over-promise or over describe an item
5. Package your items carefully and professionally
6. If you can, toss in something for free (I bought a purse for my girlfriend and the lady threw in some samples and a dust bag)
