People are looking to buy on ebay because everything nowadays is so expensive. Our children - and granted us too - just have to have everything that comes out. But after a while - the thrill of the purchase wears off. Sure you spent $50 on that new PS2 game you had to have but there are so many people out there who are not as fortunate to be able to get what they want, when they want it and brand new to boot - but would be thrilled to have your old one item.
Let's be realistic. These items are worth nothing to you sitting on a shelf collecting dust. What if you have 5 of them? So you paid $250. Do you know that by offering them for $5 - $10 a piece - even if listed individually - it's money in your pocket and you are making someone - usually a child - happy. Also, if you want $10 for the item - try it at least once to offer free shipping via media mail (if applicable). What is it gonna cost - next to nothing except maybe a return of a customer who was pleased with his/her seller. However, if you do decide that you want it all, and list each item for $10 each and then charge $4 each for shipping each item and you have listed 5 of them - hopefully your item will sell to someone who doesn't have to watch their pennies.
Me - I'm a straight up person.
I want to make someone's day when they open their purchase and realize that yes there are people out there who still have a heart and want to help those who can't give their children everything.
I'm relatively new to ebay - 3 months - and I'm learning as I go, but this I thought was something to share with even newer members and to remind the old timers, too.
