If you are looking for plans to build your own kayak, canoe or other type of boat, I would like to warn you about some sellers that I ran across on E-bay. When you buy plans to build anything, you want clear instructions, drawings, templates and a detailed parts list. When you buy from a reputable seller you will receive this, but I see several people on E-bay trying to make a quick buck by selling CD's they burned with copies of old magazine articles. The quality of some is poor enough, that you can't even make out the measurements. How do they get away with this practice? What about copyright infringements? As a matter of fact, some of these "plans" are available for free on the internet, so why pay good money for them?
If you are shopping for building plans, stick with a reputable seller. The price will most likely be higher, but you will get what you wanted in the first place, usable plans and not a poorly scanned old magazine article.
