Karen Millen - Karen Millen Clothing and Fashion
Miss Sixty is the most popular brand within the Sixty fashion group, and is most well known for their shoes and jeans. Sixty was founded in 1989 by Italian designers Wichy Hassan and Renato Rossi, and for two years produced the Energie line, which was marked by a very young and irreverent casual style. In 1991, the first Miss Sixty collection debuted, and in the 15 years since then, Miss Sixty has become the most common single-brand store from the group, worldwide.
In 2001, Miss Sixty eyewear and footwear came into the market. Miss Sixty shoes are inevitable on the cutting edge of fashion trends, and Miss Sixty sunglasses and eyeglasses are bold, flirty, and imbued with a pop-culture sensibility. Miss Sixty perfume came out in 2005, and the company is currently developing leather goods and jewelry lines.
A trademark of the Miss Sixty collections from year to year is the melding of different fashion eras. The 1950s and ‘80s have been popular influences, but the details are futuristic, and the materials used are typically very modern. The combination of retro and contemporary designs permeate all aspects of the Miss Sixty collection, including their tops, jeans, dresses, and accessories.
Included in the Miss Sixty shoe collection is the Cher style of the platform sandal, named after a music icon who has crossed the generational gap. They also have thongs in their collection like the "Lady B" butterfly thong and the "pendy" seashell thong. In addition to the multitude of sandals, their shoe collection includes stylish boots and high heels, as well.
