What to look for in an authentic Juicy Couture handbag

1. Detail

Detail is one of the most important things to look for with Juicy bags. Most of there items have distinct markings, such as baubles, charms, beads, very intricate embroidery and such.  You want to get the "warm fuzzy feeling" when you look at one, or are holding one in your hands. The attention to workmanship and detail is very important. If it looks shoddy and fake, it probably is. Juicy Leather is very soft and thick. It has a great texture and feel to it. Make sure you can see close ups of the leather in the sellers pictures. Be careful of sellers that use stock photos of the bags. You want to see a picture of the bag that you want to purchase, not a stock photo. Stock photos are showing you an authentic bag, but that does not necessarily mean that's the bag your getting. Your seller should have multiple, and detailed pictures of the particular bag you want.

2. Tags

Newer Juicy Couture bags have pink tags in them that say Love G & P. Older Juicy Couture bags have tags that say Love P&G. So don't think that because your bag has the second label that is is a fake. Pre 2006 Juicy bags have this label. Also know that if a fake bag can be made, a fake tag can be made too!

3.Where it's made
Juicy Couture, like many other designer bags are now made in China.

and it states it on the reverse side of the tag.

YES you can find very good deals on ebay for authentic Juicy Couture bags. Do your homework, research what you want to buy, and CHECK out your seller!

4. Your Seller
How does their feedback look? Have they sold many Juicy bags in the past? How is there feedback from previous Juicy purchasers? Are they willing to answer your questions, and are they knowledgeable about the bag your interested in. These are the questions you need to ask yourself. You can email your seller and ask them about authenticity, you can go to the purse forum here on ebay to have it authenticated. If your NOT sure about purchasing the bag, ASK QUESTIONS!

5. The inside of your Juicy Couture bag
The lining of the bag should match! It should color coordinate with the outside of the bag. You will see Juicy Couture with one of their logos on the inside lining of the bag.
Usually there is at least 1 compartment inside, and this 1 will be a zipper compartment. I am saying usually, because in some of the "tote" nylon bags there are no inside pockets.
The zipper pocket (with the exception of some of the older and smaller bags) will say "SHOP"  and have a "J" zipper pull that matched the other accent colors on the bag. Also, the inside pockets should be a solid color, not just on the top, but the WHOLE pocket. A lot of fakes just use fabric for a pocket. The cell phone pocket will say "HELLO" and usually, not with all types of the bags, there will be an attached mirror with a leather strap that says "I am the fairest".
The older bags just have this printed on the strap. On the newer bags, it is more branded in, and you can feel the indentation of it.
