I recently purchased a lawn tractor John Deere LA110. It's working great so far, although, the drive belt seems to slip at times. Probably needs an adjustment. I think it's well worth the price. What I am not happy about is the price difference for accessories. I can find something on JohnDeere.com at a certain price, try to order it, they send the info to my dealer and my dealer jacks the price up. So, instead of going through this ripoff, I'm buying my accessories through eBay. SO much cheaper. Bottom line, this mower was worth the price ($1649). I was thinking about getting a Craftsman, but the store didn't have the one I wanted and couldn't get one in for at least a week. Also, most of their mowers are underpowered and there are recalls on some of them. I know John Deere has been around for a while, so I put my trust in the name and I haven't regretted it.
