JUST BECAUSE A DESIGNER PIECE HAS SOMETHING GO WRONG WITH IT, DOESN'T MEAN IT IS NOT AUTHENTIC  

Here in Canada we have a reputable TV station that sells Joan River's jewellery, like QVC in the United States of America. 

The litems listed below have been purchased from Canada's televised shopping station, when Joan River's was on air, and only very occasionally has something ever gone wrong.  I want you to know about these experiences so that you will know that just because an item might have something go wrong with it, does not mean that it is not authentic.  I have talked to Sellers who were devastated when they were falsely accused of not selling the real thing.  I hope this is helpful to some Buyers and Sellers.  Here are some items purchased that were displayed on air, and they had some slight problems with a particular piece.  I should add, that this rarely happens with these high-quality and gorgeous designer pieces.

JOAN RIVERS - HYDRANGEA PIN - Gorgeous item, crystals, comes in teal or fuchsia.  There are three round circles on which the crystal clusters are mounted, and these three circles are mounted on the pin.  One of these circles on a fuchsia coloured pin had become detached when it was received.  It was exchanged without a problem, but this did happen to an authentic and genuine Joan Rivers piece.  The buyer probably could have used a super glue type of product and reattached it herself.

JOAN RIVERS - POLKA-DOT WIDE STRETCH BRACELET - Gorgeous item, enamel, comes in black with white polka-dots, and red with white polka-dots.  The enameling chipped off at the edges the first time each of these were worn.  They were exhanged without a problem, but this did happen to authentic and genuine Joan Rivers pieces. 

JOAN RIVERS - BEAD TORSADE - Gorgeous item, bead, came in a few colours.  One ordered in peach had the lobster claw and signature oval become detached.  The owner fixed it herself as she did not want to be bothered with exchanging it, but this did happen to an authentic and genuine Joan Rivers piece. 

How do we know that these are all authentic?  Because they were purchased from a nation-wide television shopping network.  I hope this information is helpful to you.
