Ji-Sung Park- Korean Sensation
Korea's Ji-Sung Park began his international career in 2002 shortly before the 2002 World Cup. As a member of the Korean National Team, Ji-Sung Park has made a name for himself by scoring goals against premiere European teams like England, France and Portugal in international play. After his impressive showing during the 2002 World Cup, Park moved to Holland to play for PSV Eidenhoven where he managed to achieve some fame in Europe as fans came to appreciate his energetic and almost frenzied style of play. In 2005 Ji-Sung made the jump to England's Premier League as he signed with Manchester United becoming the first Korean player to play in the league. Park rejoins his countrymen in the 2006 World Cup and should be a critical factor in the prospects of his Korean National Soccer team. Ji-Sung has risen to the occasion and is likely to lead S. Korea deep into the tournament.
