Jewelry Sizing Guide

Bracelet Sizing

We measure a bracelet using a flexible tape, measuring completely around the inside diameter including the "gap". Most cuff bracelets can be opened or reduced in size approximately one half a size to provide a comfortable fit.

Caution however with bracelets with inlaid stones. The inlay revents the bracelet fro being resized any amount without damage to the stones.

Please visit our Jewelry Sizing Page for jewelry sizing charts or visit our Native American Jewelry collection of Bracelets.

Ring Sizing

Tips on finding your ring size:

  1. Measure your finger in warm temperatures at the end of the day.
  2. If you knuckle is larger than the base of yor finger, measure both the base of your finger adn your knuckle and select a size between the two.

Tips if you're buying a ring as a gift:

  1. Ask your intended receipient's mother or friend if they know his/her size.
  2. Borrow one of your intended receipient's rings and measure using the method described below (make sure to borrow a ring that fits the finger you intend your gift ring to fit).

Other tips and information:

  1. When considering a wide band, move up a size from your measurement, for comfort's sake.
  2. Different countries have different ring-size systems. All sizes we list are measured using a jewelers ring guage and are in American sizes.
  3. The average woman's ring size is about 6. Men average a ring size of about 10.
  4. Your ring size will be about a half size larger on your primary hand (i.e. the hand that you write with).

Measure your finger and compare to our ring chart on our Jewelry Sizing Page.

  1. Find a piece of non-stretchy string or paper about 6" long.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.
  3. Using a pen, mark the point of the string or the paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
  4. Compare the length using a ruler showing measurement in millimeters.
  5. Using the ring sizing chart in our Jewelry Sizing Page to determine your ring size.
  6. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.
