Just for fun, find a photo of you that was taken about five years ago. Spend some time looking at your hair style, the clothes you were wearing, any jewelry (or lack of jewelry). Now, look at yourself in a full length mirror and compare what you see in the mirror with what you see in the photograph. If it looks as if you are "locked" into the same time, then it is time to make some changes!
Making changes can be quite intimidating, so it is often helpful to make small changes then get accustomed to those changes and build on your new foundation. For instance, if you have always worn simple necklaces, small earrings and conservative bracelets, think outside that box and put on some bling-bling! You will be pleasantly surprised at the nice complements you will receive. In the following photos I'll show a progression you could easily make from your currently conservative selection of jewelry into a more attention-getting collection. Of course, there will always be a time and place to wear your fine assortment of jewelry so don't throw it away. Rather, I'm talking about adding a bit of spice to your life and having some fun stepping outside your comfort level. The more you step outside that comfort level, the more you will see a "new you" when you look in the mirror!
