I was bidding on Sea Doo 96' STI & SPX jetskis Item # 190002813541 but I lost the bid. Well low and behold I received email I thought to be from ebay I had a second chance. The price was for 4000.00 for the two. This ebayer ID mikeasch send me about 10 emails including the SECOND CHANCE offer and a page where to pay him. After getting all these emails red flags started to raise. There was alot of things that wasn't sounding right. He claims he is in Denmark but the jet skis are in Ohio. I only live about an hour from where they are and he wouldn't let me see them until I paid for them. He kept ignoring me about the titles and he would only email me straight to me not thru ebay. Well he send me same email 3 times exact words and everything. I don't really thiink he realized it. Well then he ask me for my full name and address and item # Hmmmmm If I was selling something I would think I would know the item #. Well I gave him just this information. And then it hit me this guy is trying to scam me. So I contacted ebays security and send his emails to ebay. They did write me back and said that these emails were fraud emails. I mean these emails looked exactly like they were from ebay. I couldn't tell no difference. Thank God I email ebay about these emails because I probably would have been 4000.00 in the hole. Please watch out for this deal. He also wanted me to send western union from a site he send me. I knew that was wrong because I have been looking and reading the jet ski scam articles. And I knew this was a no no. So I wrote him back and I thought he was trying to scam me and NEVER heard back from him again. So people watch out for the jet skis scam.
