Japanese Nintendo Famicom are compatible with US NES with 60-72 pins converter . both Famicom & NES are NTSC . the only different was famicom games are 60 pins & NES are 72 pins , if you got a 60-72 pins converter , famicom games will work on NES . if you got a Japanese Famicom system or other compatible system it will work too .
