JADE SNOW WONG

(1922 - 2006)

Jade Snow Wong was an incredibly talented artist, craftsman and writer.  During her lifetime, she was known as a San Francisco "Living Treasure".  Her work is extremely beautiful, completely original and highly collectible.  Her very fine workmanship,  innovative color sense and amazing creativity were superb.  She created very fine works of art including wonderful ceramics and glimmering enamel on copper items.  It was always enjoyable to visit her and speak with her in her shop in San Francisco, surrounded by her gorgeous artwork and marvelous books.
