I'd like to give some hints to buyers who are new, to prevent being scammed by unscrupulous sellers. The first priority is checking the sellers feedback. Ideally, you want 100% positive, but even if the seller has some negatives, check into them: They might be retaliatory, spiteful negatives that even the best sellers have no control over. Look for a pattern of items not received, or not as described, and if you find these, avoid this seller at all costs! Next, see if shipping price is clearly noted, and that it's reasonable. Many scammers make their shady profits by overcharging on shipping. This is a hidden cost that needs to be factored in. Remember that you can send an item that weighs up to 70 pounds, and fits into a one rate box, anywhere in the US for a maximum of $8.10 via Priority Mail. You as a buyer do not need to underwrite the cost of a sellers' kids college education with your purchase. It's okay to pay for a small handling charge added to cost of shipping, but make sure that shipping is clearly stated, and that the seller offers a discount with multiple items sold. Then check the description. A conscientous seller will take time, and make the effort to write a clear, factual, and complete description of item they are selling. Beware of vague, generalized, and too short description. What is this seller trying to hide? Also, check the sellers return policy. If the seller has enough confidence in his product to offer money back to unsatisfied buyers, this is a good sign, and you will usually do well by patronizing this seller. Also, look for sellers who leave buyer feedback as soon as buyer's funds clear. Don't buy from sellers that hold their feedback hostage, until buyer leaves them a positive. Remember, a buyer's job is completed by paying. I hope this has been of help to someone. If so, please vote underneath. Thanks, and God bless. Larry
