Is Sirrus worth the money?
Is that what you are thinking? Well it might be, especially if you need a daily dose of Howard Stern in the morning. Talk radio just isn't the same...sorry Adam, Dave. You just don't have me, at least not yet. And now you can catch Howard at night cause the show is repeated. But still its a lot of money for something we got for free for so many years.
One problem is you are afraid of buying any model cause they keep updating them with cool features. Mine is 3 months old and already way outdated. Make sure you get one that you can buy a boom box for best quality listening. And I would try looping the car before having it installed, its pretty simple.
But if you aren't a Howard fan. I have to say, I am not impressed. Same old songs repeating but just with lots of channels. If you like pop its the same songs on the pop station, if you like rock, same songs over and over. If the kids want the kid station, well you would think Sirrus is owned by Barney and the Wiggles. Basically if you are looking for new music you might want to look around at what the other has to offer. If you are a die hard Rolling Stones fanatic etc, well you have found your mecca. And as far as catering to the hip hop crowd, well they have a lot of work to do.
So to me its like switching from basic cable to expanded services. It cost more, you have more channels, but there is still not much to watch. Except my Howard. And for that for now I will pay.
