Is A Ebay Store Right For You?

I have been using Ebay to purchase items since 2001.  The minute I started using it, I just loved everything about it!  So in 2005 I opened an account with a supplier and put a website (DebsSpecialConnections.com) on the world wide web.  That site started doing alittle business here and there.   But with my daughter going to college I wanted to do something to make alittle money, so I could still be home in the afternoon with my 14 year old son.  So I decided to open an Ebay Store.  WOW!  I just can't say enough about the Ebay Store.  My store has been growing every single month.  I had tried so many things and I was not sure that this would work, but so far, I am enjoying every minute.  In my opinion to like having an Ebay Store, you really need to like being online and not being afraid you are going to mess up.  Because more than likely at some point, you will!  But that's okay!  Just straight it out and keep going!  I would start out with the Basic Store, which cost about $15.95 a month.  Opening an eBay Store in 3 Easy Steps.  If you like computers, nice people and want to make alittle spending money, I would highly recommend opening a store on Ebay!  Their customer service is great!  Shopping online is awesome!  My MOTTO:  (SAVE GAS SHOP ON LINE)  The most important thing that you have to remember is that Rome was not built in a day, don't try to build you site in a day.  Take you time, play around work with it and get it looking the way you want it to look!  Also, it is also extremely important to remember that:  no matter what you do, or how nice you are, you are never going to please everyone.  My grandmother use to say:  "You can please some of the people, some of the time, But you can't please all of the people all of the time!"  I have found this quote to be so true!!!  You just have to say alittle pray for that person and just move and do the best that you can!  You just can't let people ruin your day like that!  Mostly you will find WONDERFUL people on Ebay that will become your customers.  Most of the people so far are so very nice and are welling to work things out between Buyer and Seller!

So just keep in mine a few things:

1.  Don't rush to get everything set up in a day!

2.  Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it!

3.  If you have the slightest computer skills, you can open an Ebay Store!

4.  Just do the best that you can do!

5.  Have Fun!

I am by no means an expert, I only wish I had done this a lot sooner.  So to all of you that are thinking about it, but are not sure you have the skills...Just Go For It!!!
