I have a print of a portrait of Iron Eyes Cody, (The Crying Indian of A Cleaner America fame, [+ numerous movies over a 30 or 40 year span]). The Artist was John Steele, long time resident of Bakersfield, CA.

This print, 16"X19" , is personally autographed by the artist John Steele and also has the personal autograph of Iron Eyes Cody.

I have been searching the net for days and have been unable to find any info on John Steele or Iron Eyes Cody other than that they are both deceased and the little in the first paragraph.

The artist also did a painting of Kateri Tekawathia (the Lilly of the Mohawk) who was being considered for Sainthood by Pope John Paul II. (outcome unknown by me).

I am attempting to ascertain approximate value of the Iron Eyes Cody painting. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
