Be careful when purchasing any of these items as while they are sold as originals they are restrikes of the award. These restrikes were commisioned by the veterans families to replace the original cross which was probably lost. The restrikes were done in the 1890's and the 1930's under the Nazi administration. So are you buying an original or fake?
