If you are looking for one of these machines on Ebay, you have probably noticed they run from $100 to $2,895.
The low end of that range are the units from Shenzhen in Mainland China for around $200. The are small, cute have slick marketing claiming two people can use them at once while listening to their favorte MP3 music. There is a flaw inherent in those systems because, within the industry, it is well known that frequencies and harmonics generated in the water are the key to a productive system. The MP3 player's frequencies cause a distortion within the eletcronics of the system that reduces their effectiveness.
The second problem with the Chinese units is that they all have the same digital frequency logic board inside. It is has been well known for a lon time that Digital Frequencies are not well tolerated by our bodies because we are Analog beings.
Effective Holistic 'machines' are Analog, not digital.
The third problem with the Chinese units is their lack of power. Virtually all those systems draw only 30 watts from the wall. That is the same power used by a refrigerator light bulb, which is not enough to do an effective detox. It IS however, enough power to release endorphins in the brain which gives you a relaxing feeling. Smoke and Mirrors.
The fourth problem is THEY HAVE NO WARRANTY, whatsover. Verify that HERE or HERE
The wholesale cost of those machines is around $80, which includes manufacturing and shipping from China. That is less than truly professional systems' ionizers cost to build. It should be noted that the metal in the professional systems are stainless stell while that in the Chinese units is scrap metal WE SELL TO CHINA! It is the chemical reaction of that poor grade of [polluted] metal which turns the water black, NOT the detox effect.
Amongst the truly Professional systems being sold on Ebay include the AMD IonCleanse™ found on Ebay HERE, Aqua Chi™ and Dyna-Chi Ionic Balancer found on Ebay HERE. Those sell on Ebay for $2,895, $1,395 and $299 respectively. The Dyna-Chi system sells for Dealer Cost because that company uses Ebay as a recruiting ground for its dealers, most of whom are women who give Spa Parties selling the systems part-time for extra household cash.
All three of those companies use Stainless Steel in their Ionizers, although Aqua Chi also uses some copper which discolors the water. Still, it is a good system, as are the other two.
You will also find a range of home-made systems on Ebay. It is probably a good idea to ask Ebay Sellers if they are the manufacturer, a dealer, etc. and how long they have been in business. It is also important to ask how long it takes to get a replacement system under warranty (if they have one). If the answer is not simple and straight forward you should RUN.
I hope this guide has been helpful.
