With todays social and economic climate,I've seen a real opportunity come about in buying and owning silver.

At current supply and demand, the leading suppliers of silver have not been able to keep up. This is a known fact. Many cell phones, computers and electronic appliances rely on silver as conductor material.

With the rising sales of such equipment, the worlds supply just cant keep up. Thus we have seen and are going to see a rise in price of silver.

Currently silver is flucutaing at about 13 dollars an ounce. What a great time to buy into the market. Silver coins, bullion and scrap are all good ways to invest. I prefer coins as they are the most fun to collect and retain a high resale value. E-bay is a great source for early Morgans and Peace dollars as well as  later  American Eagles.

The United States in its early years dumped billions of dollars worth of silver on the world market and silver was cheap because of this.

This excess surplus was quite quickly gobbled up and now investors are hungry for more. For the last 16 years the silver mines have litterlly been not meeting demand.

One other thing to consider. Gold after it is mined, tends to hang around. Other than jewelry, which is also bought and sold, Gold is not consumed. Some coputer chips use gold, but not much. Silver on the other hand, is consumed in many industrial applications. It is therby, as the industry says is consumed. Never to return again. Gold will always be here. Silver won't. Another reason that silver will rise in price.

Recently, the DJIA (Dow Jones Industiral Average) has risen approx. 34 percent. Gold rose even higher at 69 percent. But, silver, a whopping 159 percent!! If you want a great return on your investment, when stocks, bonds, and currencies are not doing really great, try silver, I double dog dare ya! hehehee Happy hunting! Michael Daniels -Houston
