RUEHL No.925 simply known as RUEHL is the latest concept in retail clothing by Abercrombie & Fitch. Where Hollister is marketed towards high schoolers, Abercrombie & Fitch towards collegiate customers, RUEHL's customer basis is that of a post-collegiate customer between 22 and 35. Instead of being outdoors in nature like Abercrombie, RUEHL has a metropolitan setting, where the stores are made to look and feel like New York. Unlike Abercrombie & Fitch there are very few RUEHL stores throughout the United States, with only 15 currently opened and 6 more upcoming locations and there is no online store. With a minimal supply of products and a high demand by fashionable business savvy young adults, this makes a RUEHL clothing a rare item.

Selling RUEHL on eBay
Since there is a minimal supply of RUEHL clothing available and it is not offered for purchase online, they have been fetching a high price on eBay. Unfortunately, the buyer market is not as large as "Abercrombie & Fitch" because the brand name is still relatively new. Also, before the introduction of a new line of clothing, RUEHL offers most of it previous line for sale in its stores at a 50% discount. Combine that with a 15% employee discount and you could get a $80 shirt for $34 or less. If you have a RUEHL store in your area you may already know this, but to a consumer who is buying online, a half price discount is pretty good for a new item.

Buying RUEHL on eBay
At this time, there are currently no knock-off or fake RUEHL products, but that is not to say that there may never be unauthentic items being sold on ebay. Because RUEHL is a fairly new concept the counterfeit industry has not figured out the potential of this market. If you know what you are looking for, ebay can be a great source for finding great deals on that special item, but because RUEHL offers no online store you are limited to the selection and pricing of the seller. Many sellers will say New With Tags (NWT), but because RUEHL pins there price tags to there items it is very easy to save a tag and re-pin it after use. Keep that in mind.

 

Pricing
Keep in mind that RUEHL's items are roughly 40% higher than Abercrombie & Fitch. So at RUEHL a higher quality button down shirt is going to run about $80 while a similar style of less quality will run about $50 at AF.

Sizing
The sizings of RUEHL clothes are almost identical to that of Abercrombie & Fitch, so if you wore a Medium polo at AF then you are also a M at RUEHL. Although unlike Abercrombie & Fitch, RUEHL's jeans tend to hold true to there original sizing where as at AF they would fit in the store and after the first wash shrink to a smaller size.

Logos
The official mascot of RUEHL is a French Bulldog named Trouble. Initially, RUEHL did not brand its name all over the merchandise, but the company has recently been experimenting by stamping giant RUEHL logos into the leather bags as well as putting various logos on the clothing such as a bulldog face, the letter “R,” "RUEHL 925," and simply “R925." Trouble in establishing a unique and visually appealing logo has been the cause of the evolving and ever-changing brand element of RUEHL. I believe this is a unique element of the RUEHL brand in that not everyone recognizes the logo, so you will always get someone asking you about the logo of the product. "What’s with the R?"
