In my experience, the USPS (in most cases, when shipping under 4 pounds) is the cheapest and easiest way to ship boxes internationally. As with other USPS services free packaging is available via the online postal store. Free package pickup is also available.
To figure international shipping cost via USPS, follow this link....http://ircalc.usps.gov - and simply enter the total weight of your package and pick the destination country.
USPS has recently changed their policy now offer PRIORITY and EXPRESS services.
I mostly use Priority and find that the transit times are accurate when compared to the website and tracking is kept current within one or two days. Honestly, the tracking is not as accurate and up the minute as with UPS or Fedex. But in the end, you do get a confirmation of delivery and the buyer can verify this information on their end via the USPS website.
When using the shipping function via Paypal, you will find easy instructions for entering package information such as item description, cost, and individual weight. When you are done entering your package information, your label with any additional paper work is completed for you and printed right at your PC. You can then schedule a carrier pickup so a drive to the post office is not required.
There are a couple of things that are REQUIRED by from the buyer other than a correct address. You must have a formal name and telephone number if shipping to a p.o. box. You can not complete your shipping label with out these two additional pieces of information.
Shipping Internationally via USPS and Paypal saves the seller the hassle of filling out mulitple customs forms by hand and saves a trip to your local FEDEX or UPS terminal.
I have had great success shipping my international packages via USPS and I hope this information guide gives you some insite on your international ebay transactions.
