You are a fairly new Militaria collector. You may have a pocket full of money or limited resources. You think German World War Two military items are cool and you can't wait to get that first badge, medal or dagger. You go to ebay and find a gold mine. My advice after 40 years of fooling with this stuff is stop, take 10 deep breaths and search ebay for reference books on items you are interested in BEFORE YOU BUY THAT FIRST ITEM for your collection. Two or three hundred dollars on references will be well spent versus two or three hundred dollars padding the pockets of some sucker fisherman!
