The  most important thing when changing spark plug wires: always make sure that you do not cross the wires so that the firing order is not correct. Take one wire at a time and replace the wire in the distributor cap, follow the old wire to the spark plug, remove old wire and put on the new wire. repeat this procedure for the rest of the spark plug wires and you will have no trouble with the task.
