INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING AUTOMOBILE CARPET IN YOUR CAR PROVIDED BY FORD LICENSED MANUFACTURER MUSTANG MARKET

SPECIAL NOTE:  This Carpet has been especially designed and engineered to fit your car made from original floor pans.  Installation is simple and easy.  For perfect installation please follow the steps listed below.  Thousands of these molded carpets have been installed and are rendering complete satisfaction.

1.  Remove seats, console, and old carpet.  Clear away all of the old jute padding and sound insulation with a stiff putty knife.  The cleaner the floor pan, the logner the new carpet will last.

2.  Use a mild solvent to clean the floor pan.  You may want to even "paint" the floor with rust inhibitor.

3.  Take the front section of the carpet and lay it in the car over the tunnel and in the front floor boards.  You should note where and how much trimming will be required.  Do the same for the rear carpet section as well as the sound insulation.  NOTE:  DO NOT cut the seat mounting or seat belt holes until you have checked carpet fit.  Once the carpet is cut, you will not be able to return if there was an error.

4.  You are now ready to install the carpet and replace the seats.  As with any type of work that is done properly, take your time and be careful.  You will enjoy the new look and smell of your carpet for years to come.  Good luck on your restoration.
