Many people use bookmarks of all styles, from ,metallic ones to ones with beads to art cards to crafts, although many posters have inspirational or scripture sayings on them and in some religious stores you can find bookmarks with nice pictures and nice verses or thoughts that are encouraging and uplifting, I havent found many on Ebay.

I am an artist, but  first a Christian, so I like to incorporate a verse or saying on my artwork for others, when I can to one of my paintings and make bookmarks for family and friends.

They always say that the verse may just lift their mood when they read it and that the pictures I paint give them a one minute vacation to another place.

I started selling my artwork on ACEO's recently here on Ebay and a few days ago I also began making my paintings into bookmarks.

Although I found some generally in bookmarks section of the books>accessories>bookmarks, I didnt see any in the religion section.

This perplexed me a bit as I thought there would be oodles of them.

My winning bidder on a bookmark let me know some of her favorite verses, so when I made her bookmark, I easily added her favorite verses to it and it came out beautifully so I made another with her other favorite verse and sent them both to her. I will do this for no extra charge to my winning dders.

It was then I realized that we may need more of these type bookmarks on Ebay, so I am committing some of my artwork to making these type of bookmarks along with my regular ones.

So I started to make a few with verses and then went to post them and found there is no category for them as such.

I know there are so many categories for so many things, but as a new seller to Ebay, I think at this point I have to list them under Bookmarks since that is what they functionally are.

It is my hope that the ones I make with inspirational sayings make it to the people that would welcome them.

They are not of any denomination, just uplifting sayings based on the bible that are good for Christian life, so I hope that they get  noticed by those who would appreciate them the most and that they would make nice little gifts for anyone to give to a loved one.
