The info box is a great option for anyone that needs to distribute flyers absentee.
Info-boxes’ have many great uses:
· Rental Properties Flyers
· Realtor Listing Flyer
· Service Providers
· Business distributing flyers after hours
There are several versions of the info-box on the market and aside from price there is very little if any discernible difference. The most important thing that should influence your buying decision is the monogram on the front.
One version has the image “Take One” monogrammed into the front then painted with red paint. A second slightly cheaper version just has a decal. I highly recommend the first version with the imprinted monogram rather than the decal. The decal easily yellows, fades and peels off leaving the box look old and worn out before its time. Whereas the monogrammed version will look good for many years of reliable use.
This is a great box if you intend to use it and move it from
location to location. If you are going to use this box once or twice
only then I recommend the Info-pak or Info-tube. These are much cheaper
alternatives and are designed as more of a disposable unit. (See my
other product reviews for details on these products) The retail on
these boxes is $19.95
The quality of the box is top notch as it is durably constructed of high quality plastic and designed for many years of use. The lid is hinged and can be popped out easily for cleaning. The clear plastic front plate slides out easily as well to give you access to the mounting holes. If taken care of these boxes will last for years and years. (I have some that are over 10 years old)
The info box will hold easily 20 flyers on most grades of paper. I do not recommend over filling it as you want the flyers to be easily accessed. 100 to 30 flyers is the optimum recommended quantity.
Mounting the info-box is easy. It can be easily mounted to a wooden surface i.e. real estate sign, as well as a metal stake, and or a metal surface. Here are instructions either.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
To mount to a wooden surface: You will need 2 to 4 screws.
Remove the clear plastic front plate from the front of the box. (To do this simply lift the lid grasp the front plate firmly and pull it should slide out easily) Once you have removed the front plate. You have access to screw holes on the top and bottom. Simply use the screws to fasten the box onto the wooden surface, slide the plate back into place and close the lid its just that easy.
To Mount to a metal post: You will need 2 medium sized zip ties
Remove the clear plastic front plate from the front of the box. (To do this simply lift the lid grasp the front plate firmly and pull it should slide out easily) Once you have removed the front plate. You have access to 2 sets of holes on the top and bottom of the box. Simply slide the zip tie through one hole around the stake then back through the other and tighten. Then slide the plate back into place and close the lid its just that easy.
Additional Mounting Ideas:
I have seen other people gluing magnets onto the back of their
info-boxes and leaving them stuck to a car or other outside area for
quick distribution of information.
