I learned this from my grandmother. Find calendars that are done with paintings or anything to your liking. Once the year is over, remove the staples from the calendar, purchase some frames from your local dollar store (frames can also be spruced up with paint) frame the pictures and hang up around your house. This is a great inexpensive way to decorate. And remember you will have 12 pictures to pick from. I did this in one of my rooms and 9 framed pictures cost under 15 dollars.
