There are a lot of manufacturers of aftermarket fairings out there. A lot of people think there is one manufacturer and everyone buys from him. That is untrue. Now the quality, customer service and fitment are all going to vary from who you look at. The ones on ebay have a time difference and language barrier. The few in the U.S. are wholesalers and I know of one that has his own factory. I can cover a few issues.

1. Fitment: Varies on make and model. The more popular the kit, the better the fitment. Reason being it has been tried and tested many times and the kinks have been worked out.

2. Quality: If they say you will get it in a week. Probably because they are in a factory assembly line, pre-packaged and mass produced. Not what you want. This will go hand in hand with fitment. Now 2 weeks to produce and paint, more reasonable. Now because they take 2 months to get it to you does not mean you will have a ferrari showroom shine.

3. Customer Service: Japanese, Chinese, taiwanese... all have language barriers with U.S. but I have trouble with the English who call vacation a holiday and the phone a telly and all sorts of weird crap. If they can't answer your calls or give you a call back within 2 days. Not worth it. (I have broken this rule several times) or if they don't answer your emails within 2 days. Not worth it. If they seem like they are avoiding you, chances are they might be. Also, if they don't give you a valid phone number to reach them then I wouldn't trust them.

Check them out, see what they have to offer and then make a sound choice. Oh, and this is just my opinion from my point of view, just like all forums.
